Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to extend the time for furnishing sureties passed in Crl.M.P.No.16202 of 2017 dated 20.12.2017 in so far as in respect of furnishing sureties before the Learned IX Addl.Special Judge for CBI Cases, Chennai, pending appeal in Crl.A.No.792 of 2017.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C.V.KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner, and SPECIAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR, FOR THE RESPONDENT the court made the following order:- Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Public Prosecutor.
It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that due to terminal illness the petitioner/appellant was not able to furnish surety within the time specified by this court in its order dated 20.12.2017, he seeks time to furnish sureties.
Considering the plea, time is extended to furnish sureties on or before 2.3.2018, other conditions shall stand remain. -sd/- 20/02/2018 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
