For petitioner : Mr. C.Rajaguru For Respondent : Mrs.N.Senthilselvi, GA RR1 to 3 (In all the petitions) COMMON PRAYER These writ petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondents Nos.1 to 3 to initiate appropriate action against the 4th respondent - college for collecting illegal, exorbitant fees from the students and consequently directs the 4th respondent to refund the fees collected from the petitioner other than fee prescribed for Govt. Aided courses Shift -1 ( Morning) at 4th respondent college by the Government of Tamil Nadu based on the representation dated 04/03/2023 made by the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this Honourable Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
3. In response, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the 3rd respondent has conducted enquiry on the petitioners' allegation and conducted enquiry and issued a letter dated 09.06.2023 and issued a direction to the 4th respondent to refund the excess fees which was collected from the petitioners and directed to file a report before the third respondent in this regard.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse orders are passed agianst the 4th respondent and hence, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the third respondent to conduct enquiry and conclude the proceedings dated 09.06.2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observation, the writ petitions are disposed of. No
costs.
