This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide police protection for the operation of rough stone and gravel sand quarry at Vayaloor Village, Cheyyar Taluk, Chengalpet District, as per the license dated 18.03.2025 in Na.Ka.No.435/Mines/2024 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 11.04.2025 submitted by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the counter party, conduct enquiry, and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
