O R D E R

Heard Mr.G.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate for respondents. With the consent of either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for direction upon the 1st respondent, namely, Tamilnadu State Information Commission to dispose of the appeal dated 30.09.2014, which has been sent by speed post. The petitioner aggrieved by the order passed by the 2nd respondent has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

preferred appeal and the appeal is said to be pending. The appeal, which is in letter format has been sent by speed post and acknowledgment has been made by the office of the first respondent on 01.10.2014.

3. In such circumstances, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contention, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal petition, if it is in order, on merits and in accordance with law preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing notice to all the parties.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
