Heard Mr.A.S.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for Ms.Thenmozhi Shivaperumal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Venkatesh, learned Government Advocate for R1. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that private notice has been sent to R2, however confirmation of service is awaited. No notice has been issued to R3 but in the light of the order that I propose to pass, his presence at this juncture is not considered necessary.

2. The short prayer of the petitioner is for a mandamus directing R2 to take action based on his various representations commencing from 11.06.2017 to 08.06.2020. Though R2 is unrepresented, learned counsel for R1 would state that he has received instructions from the Executive Officer to the effect that the aforesaid representations are indeed pending.

3. In the light of the aforesaid, it would suffice that R2 be directed to hear the petitioner, R3 as well as any other party that may be deemed necessary for proper adjudication upon the representations and pass orders within a period of six weeks from date of issue of this order. The mandamus sough for is thus issued and the writ petition is disposed in the aforesaid terms. No costs.
