This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to survey the petitioner land in respect of vacant plot situated at Kallakurichi District, Kallakurichi Taluk, at Emapper Village in Old S.No. 112/1, New S.No. 112/1F an extent of 1744 sq.ft.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2 would submit that if the petitioner makes a suitable application before the concerned authority to survey his land located at Kallakurichi District in Old S.No. 112/1, New S.No. 112/1F an extent of 1744 sq.ft., on the proposed date of survey, the 2nd respondent police will provide protection.

3. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

4. Recording submissions of learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to give suitable police protection on the proposed date of survey of land belonging to the petitioner.
