Respondents Revision Petition filed under Sections 397 read with Sec. 401 of Cr.P.C. against the order and judgment of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, III FTC, Chennai in Criminal Appeal No.53 of 2007 dated 01.7.2008 against C.C.No.8759 of 2003 on the file of the IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, confirming the conviction of the judgment of the trial Court dated 07.2.2007 and the sentence of one year RI and to pay a fine of Rs.500/-and in default of the payment of fine to undergo simple imprisonment for one year for the offence under Section 420 IPC and the sentence of one year RI and to pay a fine of Rs.500/- and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for three months for the offence under Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and to call for the records in the said criminal appeal and set aside the same. ORDER
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the revision petitioner died long back and, therefore, nothing survives in the petition.
