The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to pass a considered order on the application given by the petitioner on 14.05.2019 not to entertain any kind of application from the second respondent and not to issue E.B.Service Connection in favour of the second respondent pertaining to Survey No.28, S.No.1946/1 part, bearing D.No.92/62, Mangaliamman Koil Street, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
St.Thomas Mount Village, Alandur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, measuring an extent of 2070 sq.ft.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the second respondent is the brother of the petitioner and that their father executed settlement deed in respect of the subject property in favour of the petitioner. Whileso, the second respondent is trying to get electricity service connection for the subject property in his name. In this regard, the petitioner made representation to the first respondent and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition.
3.It is represented by the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent that the second respondent has not made any application seeking electricity service connection. 4.Since the second respondent claim that he has not made any application seeking electricity service connection, the relief sought for in this writ petition is frivolous and mis-conceived one and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. 5.The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. No costs.
