Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records made in the impugned order of the 1st respondent in Letter No.57285/P/2009-1 dated 30.3.2010 and consequential order in letter No.46341/P/2010-1 dated 1.12.2010 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to provide suitable employment to the petitioner in the Government, Local Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings.

(The Judgment of the Court was delivered by Hon'ble The Chief Justice & A.Arumughaswamy, J) We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, and perused the impugned order passed by the learned single Judge. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Indisputably, the appellant was appointed temporarily to the post of Junior Assistant-cum-Typist for the purpose of taking Census, and his services were utilised by the Department for taking Census some time in the year 2001. After the Census was over, his employment was terminated. On the basis of such temporary appointment, the petitioner seeks regularisation of his service by quashing the order of termination. The learned single Judge by a reasoned order held that the relief sought for by the appellant cannot be granted. We fully agree with the view taken by the learned single Judge. The writ appeal is dismissed. No costs.
