(Made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) The petitioner alleges unauthorised mining, but made a representation as far back as 18.07.2014. Learned Government Pleader states that the mining activity was stopped almost nine months back, as though the licence may be for a longer period of time, the quantity permitted had already been mined. Learned counsel for the petitioner still insists that currently some mining activity is carried on.

2. In view of the aforesaid, the third and fourth respondents may inspect the site to ensure that the mining activity as stated has been stopped and that no excess quantity is mined more than permissible.

3. The needful be done within one month from today with intimation to the petitioner.

4. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P. No. 1 of 2015 is closed.
