ORDER

(Made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The Greater Chennai Corporation reports that pursuant to the previous order of this court, the impugned illegal construction has been demolished.

2. Reports have been filed by the several of the respondents, including by the fourth respondent Zonal Officer, Zone 15 of the Corporation.

3. The petitioner is represented. Since the petition has served its purpose, W.P.No.16598 of 2021 is disposed of.

4. The State authorities, including PWD and the Corporation, wherever relevant, should maintain a strict vigil to ensure that no illegal construction comes up and if there is any attempt in such regard that the same is arrested at the earliest.

5. WMP No.17588 of 2021 is closed. There will be no order as to costs.
