ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to cancel the patta issued in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, in view of the final judgment and decree made in I.A.No.174 of 1998 in O.S.No.52 of 1986 dated 21.06.2011 on the file of the Additional Sub Court, Thiruvannamalai District, the patta standing in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition has to be cancelled. The petitioner had given a representation on 27.02.2026 to the official respondents for the said purpose. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr. R. P. Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 4 and 5, notice to the respondents 4 and 5 is dispensed with. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the official respondents if the petitioner's representation, seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the respondents 4 and 5 and any other third party whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 27.02.2026 seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the respondents 4 and 5 for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the respondents 4 and 5 and also any other third party whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving due consideration to the final judgment and
decree made in I.A.No.174 of 1998 in O.S.No.52 of 1986 dated 21.06.2011 on the file of the Additional Sub Court, Thiruvannamalai District. No costs. 21-04-2026 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes ab
