ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 26.02.2026.

2. Mr.B.Pachaiayappan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, initially, a representation was filed before the Sub-Collector to cancel the patta No.1132 stands in the name of 4th respondent and to grant patta in favour of petition for the land in survey No.99/6A Kothapalli village, Hosur Taluk. However, the same was dismissed vide order dated 02.02.2026. Aggrieved over the said dismissal order, an appeal dated 26.02.2026 was preferred by the petitioner before the 1st respondent. However, the said appeal was not at all considered till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's appeal will be disposed of within a period of 12 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 26.02.2026 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
