O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to register the sale deed dated 24.10.2024 and to release the document.

2. Heard Mr.R.Sundar, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.K.Karthick Jagannath, learned Government Advocate appearing for first respondent.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent was insisting for production of the original title document pertaining to the property. According to the petitioners, the original document has been misplaced and it is not traceable. Therefore, the petitioners have approached this Court.

4. In the considered view of this Court, the petitioners will have to represent the sale deed before the first respondent and if the 2/4

original documents are not available and it is not traceable, a recital shall be added in the document to that effect. On complying with the same, the first respondent need not insist for production of the original title document in view of the circular issued by the Inspector General of Registration dated 28.04.2025. The sale deed shall be registered, if it is otherwise in order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
