Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2025 to cancel the said Patta Nos.850, 755 and 672 and to issue fresh patta by measuring the property in consonance of oral partition and possession by metes and bounds in pursuance of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in O.Mu.4598/2025/LR-R2 dated 19.03.2025 within a time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 04.02.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries and rectify the mistake crept in the FMB sketch and consequently, issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner pursuant to the proceedings of the second respondent dated 26.03.2025.

2. Heard Mr.A.Ilaya Perumal, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the representation made by the petitioner was received by the first respondent and it was forwarded to the second respondent, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to act upon the same and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to respondents 5 to 7 within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
