Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

2. This writ petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the appeal petition filed by the petitioner herein and pass orders.

3. The case of the petitioner is that on 08.05.2019, the Regional Transport Officer, Kanchipuram has passed a proceedings suspending the Driving License of the petitioner between 07.04.2019 and 06.10.2019 against which the petitioner has preferred appeal dated 20.05.2019 but according to the petitioner till date his appeal was not taken up for consideration by the Joint Commissioner, Transport Department, Chennai.

4. After notice, when the matter was taken up today, the learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the respondents informed this Court that the 1st respondent/the Joint Commissioner, has issued notice to the petitioner herein to hear his appeal on 11.07.2019. In view of the said communication, it is clear that the 1st respondent has taken up the appeal of the petitioner herein for consideration and the enquiry is posted on 11.07.2019.

5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. With direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry and pass order on or before 31.07.2019. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(Insp.Cell) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar bsm To
