Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to permit the petitioner to take part in the tentative counseling scheduled to be held on 22.07.2014 under Scheduled Tribe Category for the admission to the 1st year MBBS course for the academic year 2014-2015 (Application No.261291) and admit the petitioner by accepting the sworn affidavit of the parents under the quota reserved for Scheduled Tribes without insisting upon the production of the community certificate.

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that the petitioner had already been permitted to participate in the counselling and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.
