ORDER
This application is filed to modify the condition that the petitioner is directed to deposit the aggregating amount of Rs. 31,32,119/- as on February 2025 by means of a Fixed Deposit Receipt drawn in favour of the Competent Authority/District Revenue Officer, Chennai, within two months from the date of the order passed today by the Special Court, Special Judge under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors Act, 1997, vide order in Crl.M.P.No.2356 of 2024 dated 06.03.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first and second respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. Considering the submissions made by the counsel on either side, this court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed by the Special Court, Special Judge under the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors Act, 1997.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 22-04-2025 kv
