The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.321 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent within a reasonable period.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Palaniappan and Subramani. Based on the said complaint, the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.321 of 2014 for the alleged offences under Sections 341, 323 and 506(ii) IPC r/w Section 3 of TNPPDL Act. But there is no progress in the investigation of the said case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor as well as the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to investigate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the case in Crime No.321 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. 5.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
