Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent No.1 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 03.09.2015 and to forbear respondent No.1 not to grant electricity service connection to the second respondent, in respect of the property of an extent of 750 sq.ft., in Door No.17, comprised in Old S.No.165, New S.No.3328, Mahaboob Hussain Sahib, first street, Chintadripet, Narasingapuram, Triplicane, Chennai, pursuant to the objections by the petitioner dated 03.09.2015.

Heard Mr.AL.Ganthimathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.R.Dilip Kumar, learned counsel, who accepts for the first respondent, and Mr.C.Gurulingam, learned counsel, who took notice for the second respondent.

The petitioner seeking for issuance of Writ of mandamus to forbear the first respondent from granting any electricity service connection in respect of the property, measuring an extent of 750 sq.ft., in Door No.17, comprised in Old S.No.165, New S.No.3328, Mahaboob Hussain Sahib, first street, Chintadripet, Narasingapuram, Triplicane, Chennai, pursuant to the objections by the petitioner dated 03.09.2015. 3.The counter affidavit filed by the second respondent shows that the petitioner is having electricity service connection granted in the year, 2011. In any event, the objection raised by the petitioner is not to give any fresh connection and not in respect of old connection. In case, if there is any application made for grant of fresh connection, the objection made by the petitioner may be considered the first respondent.
