ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme in Sri Mariamman Thirukoil, Koyyamarathukottai, Kottumaranhalli Post, Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District on 06.06.2018, by considering his representation dated 25.05.2018.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a resident of Kittesampatti, Koyyamarathukottai, Karimangalam Taluk and also claims to be the Dharmakartha of Sri Mariamman Thirukoil, Koyyamarathukottai, Kottumaranhalli Post, Karimangalam Taluk. Since the Vizha committee of the said temple has been conducting the cultural programmes as a part of temple festival every year in a peaceful https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
manner without any untoward incident in the past, he has submitted a representation to the respondents on 25.05.2018 seeking permission to conduct the cultural programme on 06.06.2018. As the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. This Court is unable to find any merit in the writ petition for the following reasons:
(a) Firstly, the petitioner has not given any representation to the second respondent. No proof whatsoever has been placed before this Court that the representation dated 25.05.2018 said to have been submitted to the second respondent has been promptly made.
(b) Secondly, when the festival is being held today i.e., 06.06.2018, the petitioner cannot come to this Court in the last minute.
4. Therefore, this writ petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs.
