ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 466, 468 and 471 of IPC in Crime No.223 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner running a print press as name and style of Sri Ragavendra printers, in which, he illegally altered the name and address in the voter ID cards and issued to the General Public. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that petitioner has illegally altered the name and address in the voter ID cards and issued to the general public. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. It is seen that the petitioner has altered the name and address in the voter ID cards and issued to the general public. Therefore, the petitioner committed very heinous offence, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
