The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to direct the respondents to correct the deceased name as Rajendran instead of Raji based on his representation dated 07.07.2021.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the prayer of the petitioner for amendment of the name as claimed in the representation dated 7.7.2021 has been considered and corrected copy has been handed over to him and hence nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

3. In such a view of the matter, recording the same, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
