Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal in the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of

mandamus to direct the respondents to ensure the accessibility and deity worship of the petitioner and his community members in Arulmigu Mariamman Temple at Alampatti Village.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation dated 06.05.2017 to the 2nd respondent. However, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far. 4.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law. 5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
