Prayer : Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of Detention passed by the second respondent in Cr.M.P.No.17/Goonda/2024 C1 dated 22.04.2024 set aside the same, direct to produce the detenue Mr.Jegatheesan, Male, aged 36, S/o.Shanmugam and presently detained in Central Prison at Coimbatore, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3460, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 03.06.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
