The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 25.07.2015, investigate the case and file the final report within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against one Vasanthakumar and Rajandran stating that the said persons trespassed into the land of the petitioner and tried to cut down the trees. When the petitioner questioned the same, the said persons assaulted the petitioner and threatened the petitioner by showing the knife. But no action was taken by the respondent on the said complaint till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Criminal Original Petition.
3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.108 of 2015 has been assigned. He further submitted that the counter petitioner Vasanthakumar has also lodged a complaint against the petitioner and the same has been assigned C.S.R.No.154 of 2015 and the enquiry in both complaints are pending before the respondent.
5. In view of the submissions made on either side, this court is constrained to pass the following Order : The respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 25.07.2015 in C.S.R.No.108 of 2015 and the complaint given by the counter petitioner in C.S.R.No.154 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.
6. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
