.. Respondent Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondent for having committed contempt of Court for wilful disobedience of this Court order made in W.P.No.1748 of 2014 dated 20.08.2019.

O R D E R

The petitioner, alleging non-compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 20.08.2019 in W.P.No.1748 of 2014, has filed the present contempt petition.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation would submit that as per the Joint Memo of Compromise entered into between the parties, the respondent Corporation has settled the amount to the contempt petitioner and however, with regard to non-duty period, employer's contribution towards Provident Fund to be paid by the petitioner to the respondent Corporation and if the petitioner pays the employer's contribution for the nonduty period, the respondent Corporation would settle the entire amount to the petitioner.

3. In the light of the above, the petitioner is directed to pay the employer contribution of Provident Fund for the non-duty period to the respondent Corporation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such payment, the respondent Corporation shall settle the entire revised pensionary benefits to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. It is needless to state that the respondent Corporation shall serve to the petitioner, the details of Employers contribution of Provident Fund for non-duty period to be paid to the respondent Corporation, within a period of one week from today.
