Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondents to consider the request of the female advocate's petitioner to appoint as a Additional Government Pleader/Additional Public Prosecutor on par with other male advocates in order to eradicate gender 1/4

discrimination and equality in enshrined under Article 14 of the Constitution of India in order to elevate women's social status in the society in the circumstances of the case.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the second and third respondents to consider the request of the female advocates to appoint as a Additional Government Pleader/Additional Public Prosecutor on par with other male advocates in order to eradicate gender discrimination and equality in enshrined under Article 14 of the Constitution of India in order to elevate women's social status in the society.

2. When the matter is taken up today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
