The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.04.2023, in connection with Crime No.143 of 2023, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 354(D), 506(i), 305 IPC r/w. 11(1), 12 of POCSO Act, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner gave love torture to the victim girl, who is minor aged about 16 years, over phone, due to which she committed suicide by consuming poison and died. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Therefore, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

dsa/anu due to which she consumed poison and died. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the age of the victim girl, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
