Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal dt 22/09/2015 made by the petitioner seeking to promote her to the post of Deputy Registrar Administrative Officer with effect from 22.2.2015 and consequently to cancel the promotion of Thiru.B.Sri Kumar Law Officer statutes to the post of Deputy Registrar Administration.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner was notionally promoted to the post of Assistant Registrar with effect from 01.10.2011 and monetary benefits

from 22.02.2012 in the light of the judgment dated 05.09.2014 made in W.A.No.1369 of 2012 and her grievance is that though she became fully eligible for getting promotion to the post of Deputy Registrar/ Administrative Officer as on 01.10.2014, her claim has been unjustifiably overlooked in order to accommodate the second respondent and in this regard, she has also submitted a detailed representation dated 22.09.2015 to the Vice Chancellor as well as to the Academics followed by a reminder dated 26.09.2015 and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.N.A.Nissar Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Sanjay Ramasamy, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.

Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2015 and 26.09.2015 on merits and in accordance with law after providing with the petitioner as well as the second respondent an opportunity of personal hearing and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the second respondent. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
