Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to effect drinking water and ground water supply to the petitioners housing quarters at Tamil Nadu Housing Board Quarters, Gandhipuram, Coimbatore - 44, without any hindrance on day to day basis, as it is supplied for adjoining Police Quarters by considering the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 09.03.2015, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court For Petitioner : Mr.G.Sankaran For Respondents 1 & 3 : Mr.R.Rajeswaran Special Government Pleader For Respondents 2&4 : Mr.V.Anandamoorthy For Respondent-5 : Mr.R.Sivakumar

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief:- For issuance of Mandamus, directing the respondents to effect drinking water and ground water supply to the petitioners' housing quarters by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 09.03.2015.

It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for petitioners that now drinking water supply has been restored. 3.

Since the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has been meted out, this Writ Petition stands closed. As the learned counsel for the respondent-Housing Board submitted that flats are to be demolished, and already, several occupants have vacated, and because of pendency of certain Writ Petitions, the petitioners have not vacated the premises, the counsel appearing for the respondent-Housing Board is at liberty to move the Registry to list those Writ Petitions. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
