ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to provide parking space to the shops situated in Shop Nos.M90, M92 and M108 at Periyar Vegetable Market, Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex to an extent of 620 sq.ft. comprised in T.S.No.2, Block No.65 of Koyambedu Village, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

The petitioner had purchased Shop Nos.M90, M92 and M108 situated at Periyar Vegetable Market, Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex to an extent of 620 sq.ft. comprised in T.S.No.2, Block No.65 of Koyambedu Village, Chennai, by a registered sale deed dated 01.02.2024 vide Document No.570 of 2024. The petitioner obtained trader registration and license from the Market Management Committee to run the wholesale vegetable shop. The

petitioner had received vegetables from various parts of Tamil Nadu and kept in her shop for wholesale.

4. Now, the petitioner sought for parking space in front of her shop to park the lorries which was coming from suburban districts. The petitioner can have a space to park the lorry only for the purpose of loading and unloading and she cannot have any space for parking the lorries in front of her shops. The sale deed also does not provide any parking space in front of her shop.

5. Therefore, the direction sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered. Thus, the writ petition is devoid of merits and it is liable to be dismissed.
