Mr.M.Guruprasad, Government Counsel Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.03.2026 to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's land.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's great grandfather was an absolute owner of the land situated in S.F.No.518/1A1, measuring an extent of 4-25.34 hectares (10 acres 51 cents) and by way of succession, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the above mentioned properties. The petitioner submitted an online application for a Field Measurement (survey) on 16.03.2026. Since the said application was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. In reply, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioners' application dated 16.03.2026 will be disposed of by the respondents, within a period of eight weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.03.2026 on its own merits, after issuing notice to the parties concerned and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In the event of any dispute regarding possession, the respondents shall not adjudicate upon the question of title. The petitioner and the concerned parties are at liberty to approach the competent Civil Court for recovery of possession and for appropriate reliefs in accordance with law. The official respondents shall not involve themselves in such proceedings or take any action affecting the rights of the parties unless specifically directed by the competent Civil Court.
