Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for disposal in the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to issue certificate copies of Adangal extract for the period from 1970 to 1976 comprised in S.F.No.9/11, 9/14, 9/17 and 7/9 of P.Arunmozhithevan Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representations dated 27.02.2017 and 18.03.2017, the 2nd respondent has not furnished the Adangal Extract to her.
4.Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and furnish the Adangal Extract to the petitioner in accordance with law.
5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 27.02.2017 and 18.03.2017 for furnishing the Adangal Extract and to furnish the same to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
