CRL. O.P. No.17900 of 2016 S.VAIDYANATHAN, J.

Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 379 and 430 of IPC and Section 21(1) of Mines and Minerals Act in Crime No.290 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is alleged to have illegally transported sand in his tractor.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.

Side) submitted that the petitioner is involved in one previous case and hence, opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any such offence and a false case has been foisted against him.

5. Taking note of the bad antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner and this petition is dismissed.
