Respondents in both W.P.'s Prayer in both W.P.'s : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioners to attend the classes for the 8th semester or to condone the attendance, to complete the project for the 8th semester and to permit the petitioner to appear for all the examinations in the upcoming examination.

C O M M O N O R D E R Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioners are the students of the respondents. It appears that in pursuant to the criminal case registered against the petitioners, regarding the clash between the two groups, the petitioners were not allowed to attend the classes for the eighth semester.

3. Pendency of the criminal case cannot be said to be a bar to continue the course. There is neither an enquiry nor a suspension order passed against them.

4.In view of the same, these Writ Petitions are disposed of by directing the respondents to permit the petitioners to attend the classes of the eight semester forthwith.
