This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to learned Special Sessions Judge (Special Court for Exclusive Trial of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) cases Namakkal, to consider the petitioner's bail application on the same day of his surrender in Crime No.314 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents submitted that though petitioner's name was in the FIR as 3rd accused, his name has been subsequently deleted at the time of filing of final report under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. Hence, no further directions are required.
