On 22.08.2022, my learned predecessor after examining the records noted as follows:

"3.Since none appeared on behalf of the defendants, viz., 1, 3 to 7 and 9 to 12 and no written statement has been filed on their behalf, the defendants 1, 3 to 7 and 9 to 12 are set ex-parte."

2.Effectively, the defendants 3 to 7 and 9 to 12 and also the 1st defendant had been set ex-parte in the suit. This application has been filed by the defendants 3 to 7 and 9 to 12. Since they had been set ex-parte in the suit, this application does not survive and the same is dismissed.
