Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to alter the Ownership Name in the SF No.251/2, at Kalappam Padi Village, Pennakaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District from the 2nd respondent name instead of the petitioner's name and to consider the petitioner's representation/letter to the respondents dated 10.08.2015. ORDER

After having found that an entry has been made with respect to the property situated in Survey No.251/2, Kalappam Padi Village, Pennakaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District, in favour of HR&CE Department, which according to the petitioner belongs to him, a representation was made by the petitioner to the second respondent on 10.08.2015, seeking no objection certificate to the effect that the said property does not belong to HR&CE Department. As the said request is still pending consideration, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner herein.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing as well as the learned Government Advocate.

3. Considering the above and without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 10.08.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
