Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to Writ of Certiroari to call for the records leading to the impugned notice dated 24.11.2018 in proceedings No.7/18-19/122949 dated 24.11.2018 styled as general revision in respect of the petitioners' property and quash the same.

The petitioner challenges a notice dated 24.11.2018, for general revision for property tax for the period 2018-19 in respect of the property at Door No.50(101), Dr.Muthulakshmi Salai, Adayar, Chennai - 600 020.
2. Admittedly, the petitioner has not bothered to respond to the above notice and has not filed objections/appeal within 15 days of the receipt thereof, as notice itself stipulates.
3. Moreover, I am unable to fathom what the trigger is to the present writ petition seeing as it has been filed after a period of nearly two (2) years from the date of the impugned notice. This writ petition is hence dismissed as no case is made out warranting interference in the impugned notice in terms of Article 226 of the Constitution of India, and for the reasons that the writ petition is itself, grossly belated. 4.
The petitioner may, if so desires, file objections to the impugned notice within a period of four (4) weeks from today and if the aforesaid timeline is adhered to, the objections shall be disposed, after hearing the petitioner within a period of four (4) weeks from date of receipt thereof.
