O R D E R

This revision arises against the order of learned Sub Judge, Tirupattur, Vellore District, passed in I.A.No.11 of 2014 in H.M.O.P.No.91 of 2013, on 01.02.2016.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that respondent/wife has been given very many possessions out of the earnings of the petitioner/husband, the petitioner is aged 58 years, is not doing too well in business and as such, the order requiring him to pay Rs.5,000/- per month towards interim maintenance as also Rs.7,500/- towards litigation expenses, visits him with grave difficulties.

4. This Court has considered the submissions of learned counsel for petitioner as also perused the order under challenge.

This Court finds that as against the claim of Rs.15,000/- p.m. towards interim maintenance and Rs.25,000/- towards litigation expenses, a most reasoned approach stands taken by the Court below in directing payment in a sum of Rs.5,000/- per months towards interim maintenance as also Rs.7,500/- towards litigation expenses. This Court finds no error in the order under challenge. It is the duty of a husband to maintain his wife who has otherwise no means of income.

The Civil Revision Petition shall stand dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
