O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections 341 & 392 of IPC, in Crime No.459 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with some other persons waylaid the defacto complainant while he was going in his Tata Ace and snatched a sum of Rs.5,700/- and also assaulted the defacto complainant. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender. He would further submit that the petitioner is involved in six previous cases, which are similar in nature. However, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts and submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and also the fact that the petitioner is involved in six previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
