ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 16.07.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the alleged offences punishable under Section 6

(4) of TNSC (RDCS) Order 1982 r/w 7(1) (a) (ii) of EC Act, 1955, in Crime No.182 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 17,200 kgs of PDS rice. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submits that the petitioner filed a bail application before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore in Crl.MP.No.2776 of 2021 and the same was dismissed on 28.07.2021. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that there are four previous cases pending as against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for the grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that there are four previous cases as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
