Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for records of the Notification, dated Nil, issued by the 1st respondent, and to quash the examination conducted for the post of Assistant Director (EDP), which was conducted on 21.02.2016 by the 1st respondent and to pass such further orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records of the Notification, dated Nil, issued by the 1st respondent, and to quash the examination conducted for the post of Assistant Director (EDP) on 21.02.2016 by the 1st respondent.
3. The petitioner had applied for the post of Assistant Director (EDP) Direct Recruitment and written examination was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
held by the 1st respondent, on 21.02.2016. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, the written examination result was not published. Hence, seeking the relief stated supra, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. Mr.T.Surendran, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the written examination result was not published till date.

Mr.Palanimuthu, the learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents, would submit that the petitioner, accepting the Notification, has participated in the written examination and he has failed in the same and therefore, he was not called for the interview, therefore, he cannot now challenge the same. He would further add subsequently, the said post has already been filled up.

Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner, accepting the Notification, has participated in the written examination and having failed in the same, he was not called for the interview, in my considered opinion, he cannot now challenge the same, and therefore, this Writ Petition cannot be entertained and the same is closed.
