The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition praying for direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner, her son Govindharaj and daughter Dhanalakshmi based on her representation, dated 22.08.2022 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. Taking into consideration the factual aspects of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the respondents 1 and 2 within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to complete the enquiry within 15 days thereon in accordance with law.

4. With the aforementioned directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed off.
