ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondent.

2. The petition mentioned lands were acquired way back in the year 2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date compensation amount has not been disbursed. It appears that there are as many as six legal heirs. The petitioner wants her 1/6th share alone.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader pointed out that petitioner's brother A.Saravanan has filed O.S.No.111 of 2011 seeking 1/6th share in the land. The said suit is pending on the file of Sub Court, Chidambaram. 2/4

4. Be that as it may. The Respondent is directed to issue notice to the legal heirs. The enquiry will be held on 18.06.2024 at 3:00 P.M. in the office of the Respondent. If there is consensus among all the legal heirs as to the respective shares, the compensation amount shall be disbursed along with interest. The process of disbursement shall be completed within a period of four weeks thereafter. Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
