Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 05.09.2015 with regard to cancellation of mutated revenue records made in respect of the lands comprised in S.Nos.122/1, 122/2, 122/3, 98/3 and 45 situated as Sedukkarai Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District and to restore the original revenue records of the above said lands and consequently issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the above said lands.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

The petitioner made a representation dated 18.06.2015 based upon the decree obtained in O.S.No.59 of 2011 seeking cancellation of the Mutations made in revenue records, in respect of the properties situated in S.Nos.122/1, 122/2, 122/3, 98/3 and 45 at Sedukkarai Village, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District. On its receipt, the third respondent directed the fourth respondent to take appropriate action and file the report, as per the proceedings dated 26.08.2015. The petitioner made another representation to the respondents on 05.09.2015. As no action is forthcoming from the respondents, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

Considering the above, a direction is issued to the third respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representations of the petitioner dated 18.06.2015 and 05.09.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after getting the report from the fourth respondent and after affording an opportunity to the petitioner. It is very well open to the respondents to hear the third parties if so required. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
