Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of declaration to declare the notifications issued by the 3rd respondent in Notification No.7/2024 dated 15.05.2024 in so far as call for the direct recruitment for the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture (Extension) as null and void and further direct the 1st respondent to appoint the vacancies for the post Assistant Director of Agriculture (Extension) only by way of promotion by promoting the eligible candidates from the Agricultural officers. 1/4

This writ petition has been filed for declaring the notification issued by the 3rd respondent in Notification No.7/2024 dated 15.05.2024 insofar as calling for the direct recruitment for the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture (Extension) as null and void and further to direct the 1st respondent to appoint the vacancies for the post of Assistant Director of Agriculture (Extension) only by way of promotion by promoting the eligible candidates from the Agricultural officers. 2.
Though this writ petition has been filed seeking to declare the notification of the third respondent dated 15.05.2024, the learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the said notification was 2/4
cancelled and amended notification was issued 3.
Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
