Against the order passed by the respondent no.2 dated 27.11.2012, by which the application made for issuance of gun licence was rejected, an appeal was preferred in Appeal No.19/2013 before the respondent no.1. Seeking early disposal of the appeal, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration the pendency of the appeal, a direction is issued to the respondent no.1 to dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
