This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to file the charge sheet in Crime No.42 of 2019 dated 03.08.2019 on the file of the second respondent police.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the accused in this case have cheated several innocent persons, running to lakhs and lakhs of rupees and continuously involved in this kind of offence and leading a happy life.

He further submitted that the occurrence had taken place in the year 2017, representation given in the year 2018 and after sustained follow-up the case in Crime No.42 of 2019 came to be registered.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that several complaints are received by the respondent police and investigation is in progress and hence, he seeks some more time to file the final report in this case.
